Study graffiti art around town -- It's even easier to learn more about graffiti art than just taking classes, as you can also learn more about it by simply walking around your town and studying what graffiti artists have already put up. Take photographs, make notes and then look at each piece in detail. You should eventually start to recognize the work of individual artists, and begin to see why they create what they do.
Read books, magazines and websites -- There is so much information about graffiti art now in books, magazines and on the internet, you should be able to learn more about it than you ever thought you wanted to know. Read everything you can find, and educate yourself.
